In his 19th season with the Tampa Bay Lightning and 11th overseeing team services, RYAN BELEC manages Lightning team travel and other accommodations. His core responsibilities include air and ground transportation, as well as hotel accommodations and team catering. Additionally, he is responsible for player reassignments and relocation.
Before being named director of team services, Belec served as assistant to the general manager for eight seasons. He assisted the general manager with every aspect of hockey operations for the Lightning. He also served as vice president of hockey operations for the Johnstown Chiefs of the ECHL during the 2006-07 season.
A 2000 graduate of the Laurentian University School of Sports Administration in Sudbury, Ontario, Belec owns a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Sports Administration.
