Brandon Rodgers enters his first season with the Lightning, serving as assistant strength & conditioning coach and physical therapist. He will assist with the implementation of strength and high performance programs, as well as assist the medical staff by performing physical therapy and traditional athletic training services.
Rodgers, 26, completed a clinical partnership with the Dallas Stars during the 2017-18 season, serving as physical therapist and athletic trainer. The position was part of his sports physical therapy residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where he also completed partnerships with the University of Texas at Dallas and Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas.
A native of Pittsburgh, Rodgers earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Frostburg State University in 2014 before completing a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh in 2017.
