As our partners at Water Street Tampa continue to develop the 60 contiguous acres in the neighborhood surrounding AMALIE Arena, we ask for your patience and consideration when planning your visit to cheer on the Lightning or enjoy a concert or family show. We are pleased to report that the development project is well underway with a hotel and USF Health's Morsani College of Medicine in the midst of construction while we expect to see groundbreakings on several other projects. Roadways are being realigned, traffic patterns are changing and new transportation options are emerging - all with a vision of creating a more user-friendly environment in the blocks surrounding AMALIE Arena.
Pre-purchased parking passes for AMALIE Arena events will be handled by our preferred parking vendor, ParkWhiz. We have partnered with ParkWhiz in order to provide our guests with a higher level of service and accessibility when it comes to parking.
For the quickest arrival and departure, we suggest the following:
Green Log
Teal Lot
Foundation 2 Lot
Tampa Convention Center Garage
Pink Lot
Fort Brooke Garage
Whiting Garage
Pam Iorio Parking Garage (formerly South Regional Garage)
Foundation 1 Lot
Port Garage
Florida Aquarium Lot
Garrison Street Lot (suite holder parking only)
AMALIE Arena does not control any parking in the downtown area, however, there are several convenient parking locations nearby. While all surrounding lots have disabled parking, the most convenient location is the Pam Iorio Parking Garage (formerly South Regional Garage). This garage is operated by the City of Tampa and is located at the corner of Channelside Drive and Florida Avenue and includes elevator access throughout.
Disabled guests are encouraged to enter via the Florida Avenue entrance.
There is an accessible drop off area located off Channelside Drive in the drop-off circle and is adjacent to the Accessible Entrance. In the event that you choose to be dropped off and need assistance entering the building, we have free wheelchair service manned by our staff. Just ask anyone with an AMALIE Arena name tag or any Tampa Police Officer to request the wheelchair for you. It will be brought to you and you will be escorted to your seats at no charge.
All ADA parking is first come, first-served.
