DO I HAVE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR BOTH TEAMS? WHAT IF I ONLY WANT TO WORK FOR THE ONTARIO REIGN?

No problem! When you submit the RSVP form, just select if you want to be considered for LA Kings Ice Crew only, Ontario Reign Ice Crew only, or both teams. Selecting that you're interested in being considered for both teams can only help you with more opportunities.

WILL CHOOSING NOT TO BE CONSIDERED FOR BOTH TEAMS ADVERSELY IMPACT MY CHANCES OF MAKING EITHER TEAM?

Absolutely not! We recognize that while the LA Kings and Ontario Reign are affiliates, the two teams function separately. We also recognize that the bulk of the work for each team is geographically very different. We want you to be comfortable with the commitment you'd be making should you make the final team in either place.

IF I DIDN'T PRE-SELECT TO BE CONSIDERED FOR BOTH TEAMS WHEN I RSVP'D AND GET CUT AT SOME POINT DURING THE PROCESS, WILL I STILL BE ELIGIBLE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE OTHER TEAM?

The short answer to this is no. That is why it is important to select to be considered for both teams when you RSVP if you're at all unsure. For example, let's say when you RSVP, you select that you want to be considered for the Kings Ice Crew only, but then at some point during the audition get cut from the process and then decide you want to be considered for the Ontario Reign Ice Crew too so you still have another chance. At that point, it will be too late in the process and you will be cut from the entire audition. Our recommendation for most everyone would be to select being considered for both teams unless you know there is a reason why, even if offered the other team as an opportunity, you wouldn't take it. For example, maybe you live in Ventura County area and you know you wouldn't be willing to make the commute required to work in Ontario.

WHEN I RSVP'D, I SELECTED I WANTED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE ONTARIO REIGN ICE CREW ONLY. WHAT IF I CHANGE MY MIND AND WANT TO BE CONSIDERED FOR BOTH THAT AND THE LA KINGS ICE CREW AS WELL? OR, WHAT IF I SAID I WANTED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR BOTH TEAMS, BUT HAVE CHANGED MY MIND AND NOW ONLY WANT TO BE CONSIDERED FOR ONE TEAM?

No problem. When you check in for registration on Day 1 of the audition, please notify the check-in staff about the change you'd like to make and we can take care of that at that time.

IF I MAKE THE FINAL TEAM, DOES THAT MEAN I MAKE BOTH TEAMS?

No. Finalists will be selected for each team, and someone could very well be selected as a finalist for both teams. However, once an offer of employment is made, it will be for either the Kings Ice Crew or the Ontario Reign Ice Crew, not both.

ARE THE TEAMS INTERCHANGEABLE? CAN I GET "CALLED UP" OR "SENT DOWN" FROM ONE TEAM TO THE OTHER?

No. While players within the LA Kings and Ontario Reign organizations can do that, members of each Ice Crew are part-time employees with their specific organization only.

ARE THE TEAMS THE SAME SIZE? IS THE TIME COMMITMENT AND TYPE OF WORK THE SAME?

The teams are similar in size, and the roles are somewhat similar, but also very different as well.
