UBS Arena today announced that it has partnered with Payactiv, the access standard for earned money, to expand Earned Wage Access (EWA) and financial wellness services to its employees. Through Payactiv, UBS Arena employees can access wages they have already earned, with no-fee access options available, while gaining access to tools designed to help manage everyday budgets, unexpected costs and long-term financial goals. The agreement stems from a nationwide partnership with Oak View Group (OVG), allowing the company to provide a scalable way to deliver financial flexibility across its workforce, powered by Payactiv’s infrastructure connecting employers, payroll systems and financial services.
“We are pleased to provide the enhanced benefit of Payactiv to all our hardworking employees,” said Michael Sciortino, General Manager of UBS Arena. “Through this agreement, we’re giving the people that help make our business run the flexibility to access their earned wages on their terms and tools to help manage their financial goals.”
“Every great event is made possible by the people behind it,” said Safwan Shah, co-founder and CEO of Payactiv. “With Payactiv, UBS Arena is giving its employees more flexibility to access the money they have already earned, when they need it. We are proud to support the people who make these experiences possible.”
Beyond expanding access to financial benefits, Payactiv and UBS Arena will use the partnership to recognize and celebrate the front-line employees who make live events possible. In-game employee recognition, annual staff appreciation events, and social, digital, and in-arena storytelling will highlight the people behind the guest experience, and spotlight how financial access supports the modern workforce. The partnership with OVG will also introduce Payactiv to millions of fans and visitors across the company’s national venue network.
