Isles Day-to-Day: Romanov Placed on Injured Reserve

Alexander Romanov was placed on injured reserve with an upper-body injury, retroactive to Oct. 16.

Romanov will miss his third straight game on Thursday, when the Islanders host the Detroit Red Wings, and is expected to miss Saturday's game against the Philadelphia Flyers.

Romanov has averaged 18:12 TOI/GP this season with 15 hits and 12 blocked shots.
