All-Girls Try Hockey for Free is a program that offers girls ages 5 to 10 the opportunity to step onto the ice for the very first time in a fun and welcoming environment. This 1-hour program features instruction by local youth affiliates, certified coaches, and members of the NYI Hockey Development Team. Each session includes access to free rental skates and loaner equipment.

• Session 2: October 11: 9:00am-9:50am - Northwell Health Ice Center

As part of Girls Hockey weekend, girls ages 12 and under are invited to participate in the girls jamboree.  This fun, non-competitive event is designed for young players to get plenty of game action while building their skills, confidence, and friendships. Players are placed on balanced teams and compete in fast-paced 4-on-4 mini games, giving everyone plenty of opportunities to skate, touch the puck, and have fun!
