VANCOUVER -- Center Pascal Laberge of Victoriaville in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League had two goals and an assist to help Team Bobby Orr to a 3-2 victory against Team Don Cherry before 10,113 fans at the BMO CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game at Pacific Coliseum on Thursday.

The game included 20 prospects from the Ontario Hockey League, 12 from the Western Hockey League, and eight from the QMJHL. The players competing in the game were chosen by the 30 NHL teams; the rosters were set by NHL Central Scouting.

Laberge also set up Pierre-Luc Dubois (Cape Breton, QMJHL) for the game-winner 11:35 into the third period.

Laberge, No. 31 on NHL Central Scouting's midterm list of North American skaters eligible for the 2016 NHL Draft, leads Victoriaville in assists (25) and shots on goal (124) this season.

Ty Ronning (Vancouver, WHL) and Logan Brown (Windsor, OHL) scored for Cherry.

Cherry goaltender Evan Fitzpatrick (Sherbrooke, QMJHL), No. 2 on Central Scouting's midterm list of North American goalies eligible for the 2016 NHL Draft, stopped all 18 shots he faced. Fitzpatrick, who leads the QMJHL in saves (1,109), turned 18 on Thursday.

Orr goalie Dylan Wells (Peterborough, OHL), No. 5 on Central Scouting's midterm list of North American goalies, made 19 saves on 20 shots. Starting Orr goalie Carter Hart (Everett, WHL), No. 1 on Central Scouting's midterm list of North American goalies, made 15 saves on 16 shots. Cherry goalie Zachary Sawchenko (Moose Jaw, WHL), No. 3 on Central Scouting's midterm list, made 17 saves on 19 shots.

Dubois, No. 7 on NHL Central Scouting's midterm list, put Orr ahead to stay when he scored off a 2-on-1 with Laberge with 8:25 remaining in the third period. The goal came 11 seconds after Brown gave Cherry a 2-2 tie when his shot from the right circle went past Wells.

Laberge pulled Orr into a 1-1 tie in the second when he moved around Alexander DeBrincat (Erie, OHL) at the top of the left circle before taking a shot from the hash mark that beat Sawchenko inside the left post at 17:09.

Ronning, son of former NHL player Cliff Ronning, gave Cherry a 1-0 lead in the first with a quick snap shot from the slot past Hart at 3:09. Fitzpatrick made 12 saves in the first, including consecutive point-blank stops against left wing Jack Kopacka (Sault Ste. Marie, OHL) midway through the period.

Ronning, No. 82 on Central Scouting's midterm list, was an injury replacement for Vancouver teammate Tyler Benson (lower body). His father played five of his 17 seasons in the NHL with the Vancouver Canucks.

The game featured 20 players among the top 30, or potential first-round candidates, on NHL Central Scouting's midterm ranking of North American skaters eligible for the 2016 NHL Draft, which will be held June 24-25 at First Niagara Center in Buffalo.
