• Brown led the Spitfires with 53 assists and finished second on the team with 74 points – behind linemate Christian Fischer (selected 32nd overall by ARI in 2015) – to help Windsor return to the Ontario Hockey League Playoffs in 2015-16.

• He was named to the OHL’s Second All-Rookie Team in 2014-15 after finishing fifth among first-year players with 43 points (17-26—43).

• Brown is close friends with No. 4-Ranked North American Skater Jakob Chychrun. Their fathers, Jeff Brown and Jeff Chyrchun, were born four days apart in 1966, played minor hockey together and were selected back-to-back in the 1984 NHL Draft.

• Brown’s father compiled 154-430—584 in 747 career regular-season games over 13 NHL seasons with the Nordiques, Blues, Canucks, Hurricanes/Whalers, Maple Leafs and Capitals.

• Brown played his final minor hockey season with the Indiana Jr. Ice Under-16 team, but spent much of his youth with the St. Louis AAA Blues organization. He is one of six AAA Blues alumni on NHL Central Scouting’s final rankings for the 2016 NHL Draft.

• He collected 12 points in seven games for the U.S. at the 2016 Under-18 World Championship, including 2-1—3 in the team’s 10-3 win over Canada in the bronze medal game. He also played for Canada Red at the 2014 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.
