Friday night's 5-4 OT win over the Blues was the most entertaining game of the season from this perspective.
Lead changes, push back on both sides, a little controversy, drama and finally a clincher in the extra frame.

Have you had a chance to watch VGK Roulette on Knight Life or in the pre-game show on ATT Sportsnet? It's a chance to see Dave Goucher, Daren Millard, Shane Hnidy and myself in a different setting. It's a shameless rip off of The Quiz on TSN. The Quizmaster used to be my boss and remains a friend. I received his permission and encouragement before we launched the venture. It's fun for us and we hope it is for you as well.
Dylan Coghlan was likely headed to Henderson and the AHL's Silver Knights before an injury to Alex Pietrangelo extended his time with the VGK. Playing with Brayden McNabb in his last two games he's exploded with three goals and one assist. McNabb has provided a 6-4 security blanket and given Coghlan a green light to join the offense. Coghlan looks comfortable and confident.
Pete DeBoer got out the chemistry set last night and created a new third line putting Tomas Nosek between Nic Roy and Alex Tuch. They were immediately dominant scoring a pair of goals while holding a 9-3 shot edge and out-chancing the Blues lines they faced by an 11-2 margin including four high danger chances while only allowing one. Good stuff.
As promised, here are a few mailbag questions and answers.

GL: Pete has a real feel for the game from the bench. His in-game adjustments are excellent. I'm excited to see how Cody Glass fares between Keegan Kolesar and Ryan Reaves tonight. They do need to chip in.

GL: I don't think so. Commissioner Bettman said on Thursday that fan polling states more than two thirds of fans want the NHL to go back to its tradional schedule. So, I'd expect that.

GL: If I had to pick now, my final four would be Vegas, Toronto, Tampa and Boston.
