Points by Paul is a program launched by Nick Paul early in his hockey career to support mental health awareness. For each point Nick has scored as a member of the Lightning since January of 2023, he has donated $150 to the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay to support their work caring for community members in need of mental health resources and support.

As of the start of the 2025-26 season, Nick has personally donated over $15,000 through the Points by Paul program to the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay.

Since the 2024-25 season, all donations made by Nick through this program are matched by Slide Insurance, continuing to expand the impact made by this valuable initiative.
