Sourdif was on the ice for three of Washington’s final four goals as the team nearly overcame a four-goal second-period deficit before ultimately falling 6-5. Sourdif finished the game with a team-high +3 plus-minus rating and tied for the team lead in hits with four. The 24-year-old forward has been on the ice for just two even-strength goals against this season and his 57.1 on-ice even-strength goals for percentage leads the Capitals (min. 10 GP).
