Bernie the mascot and Colorado Avalanche Ambassador, Rick Berry, visited Dutch Creek Elementary this week for our Avalanche Team Fit program, presented by Cigna.
Each student received an Avalanche Team Fit gift bag, and 50 floor hockey sticks were donated to Dutch Creek courtesy of the Avalanche Amateur Hockey Development team.
Team Fit, presented by Cigna, focuses on the importance of fitness & nutrition, and teaches kids basic hockey skills including stickhandling, passing & shooting.
