The Colorado Avalanche are proud to introduce the inaugural Ice Patrol program for its 2019-20 season. The Ice Patrol is a co-ed group who maintain the playing surface at Pepsi Center per the polices and standards of the National Hockey League while also representing the Avalanche logo and the sport of hockey with integrity and enthusiasm as brand ambassadors.
This group of men and women will not only represent the Avalanche at games, events and appearances throughout the Denver and surrounding areas, but will assist in public with amateur hockey, community relations and marketing's various year-round initiatives.
This change comes as an exciting new way to further develop and grow the current program, on and off the ice, by expanding the opportunity to the many great skaters in the area. The Ice Patrol will also be expected to represent the brand to the highest standard set by the Avalanche organization and management.
Our ideal candidate must exercise a high level of skating ability but will be also judged on team knowledge, personality and enthusiasm for the Avalanche and their initiatives. On-ice tryouts will be held at the Ice Ranch (841 Southpark Dr.) in Littleton, CO on Saturday, June 8 at 7 p.m.
