The Buffalo Sabres have signed defenseman Ethan Prow to a 1-year contract worth $750,000, the team announced Thursday.
Prow, 28, tallied 20 points (4+16) in 26 games last season with EHC Munchen in Germany. He has appeared in 215 career AHL games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Springfield, tallying 116 points (32+84).

The right-shot defenseman was selected to the AHL All-Star Game in 2018-19, when he established career highs in goals (18), assists (32), and points (50) in 74 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
Prow played four seasons collegiately at St. Cloud State University, captaining the program to an NCHC championship in 2015-16. He was named NCHC Player of the Year and a top-10 finalist for the Hobey Baker Award that season.
