The Buffalo Sabres have signed forward Aleksandr Kisakov to a three-year, entry-level contract, the team announced Wednesday.
Buffalo selected Kisakov, 19, during the second round (53rd overall) of the 2021 NHL Draft. He had 56 points (26+30) in 51 games this season with Dynamo Moscow of the MHL, Russia's junior hockey league. He also played four games with Dynamo's KHL club.

MEET ALEKSANDR KISAKOV

The native of Solikamsk, Russia ranked among the MHL's top 10 skaters in goals (second, 36); assists (sixth, 37); and points (second, 73) in 61 contests during his draft season of 2020-21. He added 10 points (5+5) in 14 playoff games that year to help lead Dynamo Moscow to the league championship.
Kisakov is the third member of Buffalo's 2021 draft class to sign his entry-level contract, joining defenseman Owen Power (first round, first overall) and forward Josh Bloom (third round, 95th overall).
