The Buffalo Sabres have selected center Noah Ostlund with the 16th-overall pick in the 2022 NHL Draft.
Ostlund produced 42 points (9+33) in 32 games for Djurgarden's Jr. team in the Swedish Jr. League last season.
He led Djurgardens in assists (33), ranked second on the team in plus/minus (plus-30) and finished third on the team in points last season.

He earned a gold medal with Team Sweden as an alternate captain at the 2022 U-18 IIHF World Championship. He recorded 10 points (4+6) and was named a Top 3 player on the team at the tournament.
The 5-foot-10, 194-pound forward was ranked 18th among European-based skaters by NHL Central Scouting.
Buffalo selected Winnipeg ICE center Matt Savoie with the ninth-overall pick and is also slated to pick 28th-overall in the first round.
