The Buffalo Sabres have announced the team's opening night roster for the 2022-23 season.
Buffalo opens the season on Thursday against the Ottawa Senators. Tickets are on sale now.

Forward Riley Sheahan will start the season on injured reserve. Forward Matej Pekar has been placed on the non-roster injured reserve.
The team assigned forward Olivier Nadeau to Gatineau, his junior team in the QMJHL, on Monday.
Buffalo also assigned defenseman Lawrence Pilut and goaltender Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen to the Rochester Americans of the AHL.
On Sunday, the Sabres assigned defensemen Kale Clague, Jeremy Davies and Chase Priskie to Rochester after they cleared waivers.
