20220808 Rosen Sjodin Kulich WJC Preview Mediawall

The 2022 IIHF World Junior Championship ended abruptly last December due multiple teams being affected by COVID-19. Following an eight-month hiatus, the tournament will restart on Tuesday at Rogers Place in Edmonton.
Three Buffalo Sabres prospects are set to participate.

For Team Sweden, 2021 first-round pick Isak Rosen and 2022 seventh-round selection Linus Sjodin will suit up at forward. Rosen recorded one assist in two tournament games back in December.
Center Jiri Kulich, Buffalo's third first-round selection (28th overall) in 2022, will play for Team Czechia. Kulich, who signed his entry-level contract with the Sabres last month, produced one assist in two games for his country in December.
The tournament will open on Tuesday, August 9 when Czechia plays Slovakia at 2 p.m. ET. Every World Junior Championship game telecast is set to air live on NHL Network in the U.S.
Stay tuned to Sabres.com and the team's official social media platforms for updates throughout the tournament.
