In our 3rd season, the Kraken franchise had its share of milestones and unforgettable moments, from a historic Winter Classic to veteran forward Jordan Eberle reaching the 1,000-game mark.

Down in Coachella Valley, the Firebirds once again punched their ticket to the AHL's Calder Cup playoffs, while our prospects across the globe achieved notable milestones of their own in their respective amateur and European pro leagues.

The eyes of the hockey world were on the Pacific Northwest New Year’s Day, as the Kraken defeated the defending Stanley Cup Champs, the Vegas Golden Knights, 3-0 at T-Mobile Park during the 2024 Discover Winter Classic®. Will Borgen recorded his first goal of the season, while Joey Daccord backstopped the Kraken to the first shutout in Winter Classic history and a franchise-record nine-game point streak.

On December 12, 2023, the Kraken embarked on a franchise-record 13-game point streak, outscoring their opponents 48-20 over those four weeks.

During the historic point streak, the Kraken also set another franchise record with nine consecutive wins from December 20, 2023, through January 13, 2024, becoming the 31st franchise in NHL history to post a winning streak of nine or more games, according to NHL Stats.

Seattle's victory over the Flames on March 4th was the 100th win in franchise history. The century mark milestone came in the franchise's 225th game, which tied them with the St. Louis Blues as the ninth-fastest team in NHL history to reach 100 wins, according to NHL Stats.

The Kraken found balance in their first 100 wins, splitting them evenly at home (49 at Climate Pledge Arena & one at T-Mobile Park) and on the road.

On March 12th against the Vegas Golden Knights, Jordan Eberle became just the fifth skater from his draft class (2008) and the 391st player in NHL history to appear in 1,000 career NHL regular-season games.

Admired for his unwavering leadership, Eberle garnered great praise about the milestone from teammates past and present, and Kraken staff for the person he is both on and off the ice.

One Roof Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Seattle Kraken and Climate Pledge Arena demonstrated its commitment to community through youth access to hockey, efforts to end youth homelessness, and supporting communities disproportionately impacted by climate change.

In Coachella Valley, the Kraken's AHL affiliate clinched the top spot in the Pacific Division with contributions from veterans and rookies alike. Forward, Kole Lind led the Firebirds in scoring with 65 points in 68 games (through April 18), while Ryan Winterton and Shane Wright both reached the 20-goal mark in their rookie seasons.

The Kraken prospect pool showed incredible promise during the 2023-24 season. Former second-round draft picks David Goyette (OHL) and Jagger Firkus (WHL) led their respective junior leagues in scoring, while another former second-rounder, goaltender Niklas Kokko, backstopped his Finnish club, Pelicans, to the Liiga finals.
