2014 BRIDGESTONE NHL WINTER CLASSIC
The largest crowd to see a hockey game packed Michigan Stadium on Jan. 1 to watch the Detroit Red Wings and Toronto Maple Leafs battle in the 2014 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic. The game was played in near-constant snowfall and reached a shootout before Toronto’s Tyler Bozak beat goalie Jimmy Howard for the game-deciding goal. (Dave Sandford/NHLI)
