• His dad, Warren, was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in the 10th round, 200th overall in 1983 – he played for the Calgary Wranglers (now the Lethbridge Hurricanes) and the Prince Albert Raiders in the WHL. His younger brother, Austin, is a Lethbridge Bantam Draft pick.

• Yadlowski is a two-time winner of the Hurricanes Scholastic Player of the Year award and the Hurricanes Most Improved Player award (2007-08 and 2008-09). He was also selected for Team Pacific at the 2008 Under-17 World Hockey Challenge.

• His childhood hockey idol was Jason Smyth, a former captain of Edmonton, his hometown team, and he credits his dad for having the most influence on his career as he was his coach throughout minor hockey.

• His most memorable hockey moment was playing in double overtime in the provincial Bantam AAA final – “although we lost I will always remember it”.
