• In 2012-13, Bigras was the highest-scoring defenseman for the OHL’s Attack with 38 points (8-30--38) and a plus-35 rating. In 49 games as a rookie during the 2011-12 season, Bigras recorded 19 points (3-16--19) and was named the team’s Rookie of the Year as well as its Scholastic Player of the Year.

• Internationally, Bigras won a gold medal with Team Canada at the Under-18 World Championship and at the Ivan Hlinka Under-18 Memorial Tournament. He also won a bronze medal with Team Ontario at the 2012 Under-17 World Hockey Challenge.

• He lists playing guitar as one of his favorite pastimes.
