• In his first season in North America, Kolyachonok was named to the OHL First All-Rookie Team in 2018-19 after ranking second among first-year defensemen with 4-26—30 in 54 games for the Flint Firebirds.

• A native of Minsk, Belarus, Kolyachonok has represented his country in the last two Under-18 World Championships including serving as captain in 2019 while producing at a point-per-game clip (1-4—5 in 5 GP). In both Under-18 appearances (2018 and 2019), Kolyachonok was named one of the top three players on his team.

• Entering 2019, at least one Belarus native has been selected in each of the previous four NHL Drafts (2015-2018). Since 1990, only three Belarus-born players have been selected in the first round of the NHL Draft: Ruslan Salei (No. 9 in 1996), Konstantin Koltsov (No. 18 in 1999) and Andrei Kostitsyn (No. 10 in 2003).
