• Ranked second in the BCHL in goals (52), and fifth in points (87) in 60 regular-season games. 18 of his goals came on the power-play and he posted seven points (3-4--7) in the playoffs.

• Started skating on roller blades at the age of three before starting hockey in a program called Little Gretzky’s at the age of five and then went on to play his minor hockey in South Delta.

•  Patterns his game after game after Anaheim’s Ryan Getzlaf – “he is a very similar player, a power forward who can play physical but also has a good shot and can score."

• His most embarrassing hockey moment was breaking his skate blade at the Under-17 tryouts and having to wear rental skates for the rest of the game.

• If he could have dinner with any three people he would choose: Steve Yzerman, Denzel Washington and Tiger Woods and if he could be in any one movie it would be Man on Fire.

• Will attend Northeastern University in the fall of 2008.
