• In 2012-13, Théodore registered 50 points (19-31--50) in 71 games for the Thunderbirds, finishing eighth among all Western Hockey League defensemen in scoring.
• He won gold with Team Canada at the 2012 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament and registered five assists (0-5--5) en route to gold at the 2013 Under-18 World Championship. He also won a gold medal with Team British Columbia at the 2011 Canada Winter Games.
• Théodore finished third in scoring among WHL rookie defensemen with 35 points (4-31--35) in 2011-12.
You forget how good [Nieuwendyk] was. You hear the points and stuff and you almost forget until they kind of walk you through his career, and that was really cool for me. I might have felt it a little more than some of the other guys because he was one of my favorites growing up, but that was very cool and I'm honored to have been a part of it.
