• Chiasson led the Des Moines Buccaneers in assists (33) and points (50) in 50 games in his first season in the USHL and was selected to participate in the 2009 USHL Prospects All-Star Game.

• The Montreal, Quebec native has committed to attend Boston University in the fall of 2009.

• He patterns his game after Ryan Getzlaf and Vincent Lecavalier because of their effective style - combining physical play with skill. His favorite player growing up was Alexander Radulov.

• Nicknamed “Cheese”, he played his minor hockey for Quebec North Shore and started skating at the age of four – “my dad and sister left me on the ice. I was crying because I didn’t want to leave my dad and skate by myself.”

• If he could invite any three people to dinner he would choose Tiger Woods, Sidney Crosby and President Obama and the most embarrassing song on his iPod is “Circle of Life” from the Lion King.
