• Poulin led the QMJHL’s Sherbrook Phoenix in scoring with 29-47—76 through 67 games in 2018-19, finishing 17 points above his next-highest teammate. His eight goals and 14 points through 10 playoff games also led the club.

• Internationally, Poulin was a member of Canada’s gold medal-winning entry at the 2018 Hlinka Gretzky Cup and represented his country at the 2019 Under-18 World Championship.

• His father, Patrick Poulin, was selected ninth overall by the Hartford Whalers in the 1991 NHL Draft and appeared in 634 career NHL games with the Whalers, Blackhawks, Lightning and Canadiens from 1991-2002. His brother, Nicolas Poulin, skated for McGill University in 2018-19.

• Models his style of play after Avalanche forward Gabriel Landeskog.
