• Fabbro was named the Canadian Junior Hockey League’s Top Defenseman in 2015-16 after pacing all British Columbia Hockey League blueliners with 67 points, despite playing in only 45 of 58 games (14-53—67). He also led defensemen in points per game (1.49) and finished second in both goals and assists to help the Vees finish with the BCHL’s top regular-season record.

• He set up the gold medal-winning goal for Canada West at the World Junior A Challenge in 2015, his second appearance at the event. He also won gold with Canada at the 2015 Ivan Hlinka Memorial and paced all defensemen with eight assists (tied with No. 50 NA Skater Adam Fox) at the 2016 Under-18 World Championship.

• Fabbro earned a spot on the BCHL All-Rookie Team in 2014-15 after compiling 4-29—33 in 44 regular-season games. He added 4-11—15 in 21 playoff contests to help the club win the Fred Page Cup as league champions and then helped Penticton reach the semifinals at the RBC Cup, Canada’s national Junior A championship, earning Top Defenseman honors at the event.

• He has committed to Boston University for the fall of 2016. Fabbro chose to retain his NCAA eligibility despite being selected eighth overall by the Seattle Thunderbirds in the 2013 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft, one pick after his roommate and Vees teammate Tyson Jost (No. 16 NA Skater).

• His sisters, Gina and Sophia, both play Division 1 soccer at Austin Peay State University.
