• An offensive defenseman, Clague registered 6-37—43 in 71 regular-season games in 2015-16 to help the Brandon Wheat Kings clinch first place in the WHL’s Eastern Conference with a record of 48-18-6 (102 points).

• Clague matched his goal total from the regular season with 6-8—14 in 21 postseason contests as the Wheat Kings captured the 2016 Ed Chynoweth Cup, Brandon’s third WHL championship in franchise history.

• Internationally, Clague was a part of Canada’s gold medal entry at the 2015 Ivan Hlinka Memorial and served as captain of Canada Black at the 2014 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.

• Clague was a member of the Lloydminster Bobcats Midget AAA club in 2013-14 that won a gold medal at the Western Canada Challenge Cup. Clague earned Alberta Midget Hockey League First All-Star Team honors and was also named to the Western Canada Challenge Cup All-Star Team that season.

• He collected 35-42—77 in 33 games in his final year of Bantam AAA as captain of the Lloydminster Heat, shattering the Alberta Major Bantam Hockey League record for points in a season by a defenseman set by current Ottawa Senators blueliner Dion Phaneuf (15-50—65 in 35 GP).

• His father, goaltender Jason Clague, played parts of four seasons in the WHL with the Regina Pats and Red Deer Rebels from 1991-95.
