LAKE PLACID, N.Y. -- The first game on the final day of the USA Hockey National Evaluation Camp will feature Canada facing the United States.
Among the U.S. forward lines to watch is the trio of Quentin Shore centering Nicolas Kerdiles and Adam Erne. Erne had the game-tying goal and the shootout winner Thursday against Finland, while Kerdiles has been arguably the best American forward during the entire week of camp.
Jon Gillies will start in goal, with Anthony Stolarz backing him up.
Canada will have both of its young stars in the lineup, with 16-year-old Conner McDavid centering a line with 17-year-old Sam Reinhart. Max Domi will play the left side on that line.
Scott Laughton, who will play his first game of the tournament, will center a line with Bo Horvat and Hunter Shinkaruk. Tom Wilson, also making his camp debut, will play right wing on a line with center Nicolas Petan and left wing Brendan Leipsic.
Laughton and Wilson are the only two Canadian players to see action in just one game here.
Canada will start Jake Paterson, its third goalie from the 2013 World Junior Championship, with Eric Comrie as his backup.
