At Northwell's Cohen Children's Medical Center, we see more than 200 new diagnoses of cancer annually in children and offer access to clinical trials, stem cell transplantation and the full range of therapies. To fully support families seeking our care, we want children to feel seen, safe, and as “at home” as possible. This means having spaces to call their own that are kid-friendly and staffed with specialists who are trained to treat them. We plan to build a 30,000-square-foot facility that will provide one stop shopping for children with cancer diagnoses. This beautiful space will straddle New York City and Long Island to make it easier for working families to support their child during outpatient treatment.
Funds raised will support the Northwell Foundation’s $50 million focused fundraising campaign for pediatric cancer care. Your donation will help transform cancer care for families—regardless of their ability to pay.
