Artemi Panarin Bio

For a player passed over in the NHL Draft, Panarin sure made a quick impact on the League.

He signed as a free agent with the Chicago Blackhawks on May 1, 2015, after a successful career in the Kontinental Hockey League, and thrived on a forward line with fellow Russian Artem Anisimov and Patrick Kane. Panarin finished with 30 goals and 77 points (tied for ninth in the NHL) and won the Calder Trophy as the League's top rookie.
