Golden Knights Launch OneRealm Initiative to Connect with AANHPI Communities

VEGAS (September 30, 2026) – The Vegas Golden Knights announced today, September 30, the launch of OneRealm, an Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) outreach initiative designed to authentically engage AANHPI communities and deepen their connection to the Golden Knights and the game of hockey.

Through Cultural Theme Knights, community partnerships, culturally relevant content and introductory ball hockey programming, OneRealm will create opportunities for fans and community members to connect with the Golden Knights while helping grow the game of hockey and inspire the next generation of fans and players.

“Through OneRealm, we’re creating a platform to celebrate the diverse cultures, traditions and communities that make up the AANHPI community in Las Vegas,” said Ben Thomas, Director of Cultural Marketing Outreach for the Vegas Golden Knights. “Our goal is to build meaningful connections with these communities, create opportunities to experience the game of hockey and ultimately inspire more people to see themselves as part of the Golden Knights family.”

As part of the initiative, the Golden Knights will continue to celebrate and spotlight the diverse culture and communities that make up the AANHPI community in Las Vegas. OneRealm’s first Cultural Theme Knight of the season will be 9th Island Knight presented by Yaamava' Resort & Casino at San Manuel, taking place on Friday, Oct. 2, when the Golden Knights host the Anaheim Ducks at T-Mobile Arena.

9th Island Knight celebrates the strong connection between Las Vegas and Hawai’i and recognizes the significant Hawaiian and Pacific Islander community that calls Southern Nevada home. Before the game, fans can participate in a virtual surfing competition on Paramount+ Plaza and witness a pregame Hula performance on the Allegiant Stage.

Fans who purchased their tickets through the 9th Island Ticket Package will receive an exclusive OneRealm beach towel. Additionally, all fans in attendance will have a battle towel on their seat. Specialty 9th Island Knight merchandise is available now for purchase at The Arsenal at City National Arena and The Armory at T-Mobile Arena.

9th Island Knight is one of two Cultural Theme Knights featured as part of the OneRealm initiative this season, alongside Filipino Heritage Knight presented by Optum on Thursday, Oct. 15, with additional community-focused programming planned throughout the year.

The OneRealm artwork was created by local artist Jonathan “Swoopz” Suarez, who is of Filipino heritage. Suarez designed the OneRealm logos, as well as the logos for 9th Island Knight and Filipino Heritage Knight.
