Tryouts are Closed to the public.
- You must be at least 18 years old as of June 22, 2025 and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Intermediate to advanced skating skills a requirement.
- Tight athletic wear must be worn to tryouts.
- Women example: Sports bra top (supportive), leggings, bootie shorts with skim colored tights.
- Men example: Athletic form fitting t shirt or tank and athletic bottoms (shorts or pants)
- You must bring hockey skates.
- No goalie or figure skates allowed.
- We will have rentals available if needed for tryouts, but you will need to provide your own skates during the season, if chosen.
- Must reside in the Las Vegas metro area by August 11, 2025, have a government-issued ID, and have a reliable means of transportation.
- Women - Hair and makeup should be clean, glamorous, and sophisticated. Bring makeup and hair supplies for touch up. No hats or ponytails allowed.
- Men – clean cut or brushed, styled hair. No hats allowed.
- Bring a water bottle, snacks, and a sweat towel.
- All NEW canadidates must be available on June 23 for onboarding. This will take place at CNA and it only a 30-40 minute process.
- All candidates must be available August 15, 2025 from 5:00pm -10:00pm for orientation.
- All candidates must be available to begin practices the week of August 17 and be available for 70% of VGK and HSK home games through the end of the NHL season, including Playoffs.
- All clinics and auditions are closed to the public. Friends and family are not allowed to watch.
Tryout registration link will be available June 2, 2025 and will close on June 19, 2025 at 5:00pm.
