The Minnesota Wild will launch the Big Wild program presented by Old National Bank in the summer of 2026. The goal of this program is to introduce the game of hockey to kids aged 9-13 who believe they might have missed their chance to play the sport. This three-phase program will not only target Minnesota natives, but also Minnesota transplants who have moved to the great State of Hockey and don’t realize they can still get into the sport at an older age. One of the main focuses of this program will be to continue growing the girl’s game in Minnesota. We will do this by making sure each location is composed of 20 girls and 20 boys.
