LAS VEGAS (AP) -Patrick O'Sullivan's goal with 52 seconds to play capped a three-goal, third-period outburst that rallied the Los Angeles Kings to a 3-2 exhibition victory over the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday night.
Colorado's Jeff Finger scored an unassisted power-play goal at the 1:10 mark of the third to give the Avalanche (2-1-0) a 2-0 lead.
Lubomir Vishnovsky got the scoring started for the Kings (2-1-0) at 6:56 into the third on an assist from Alexander Frolov and Craig Conroy.
Los Angeles tied the game when Sean Avery sent a perfect pass to Frolov, who easily scored at 16:26.
Dan Cloutier made 22 saves for Los Angeles.
He gave up the game's first goal 20 seconds into the second period when Colorado's John Laliberte scored on an assist from Ian Laperriere and Brad Richardson.
Los Angeles continued to struggle on the power play, however, coming up empty on seven attempts.
