- Finished the season with seven consecutive victories (7-0-0), which is tied for the most in the franchise history of the Sharks. During the win streak, he posted a 1.83 goals against average (13 GA/426 minutes) and a .920 save percentage (150/163)
- Set career highs for wins (23), games played (37) and minutes played (2,039)
- 9th in the league in goals against average (2.56 gaa)
- Finished the season with five consecutive victories on the road (5-0-0) posting a 1.76 goals against average (9 GA/306) and a .916 save percentage (98/107) in those games
- Earned the Sharks at least one point in 27 out of his last 29 starts (23-2-4) posting a 2.24 goals against average (66 GA/1769 minutes) and a .914 save percentage (701/767)
- Became the first goaltender in Sharks history to win three games on a three-game road trip (3-0-0, .97gaa, .948 sv%) from Apr. 3-6
- Named the NHL Defensive Player of the Week (4/3 - 4/9) for the second time this season, posting a 4-0-0 record with a .98 goals against average and a .950 save percentage
- Recorded his second shutout of the season at Los Angeles on Apr. 6
- Named NHL Defensive Player of the Week (March 20-26) posting a 3-0-0 record with a 1.66 GAA and a .946 save %
- Named Seagate Technology "Sharks Player of the Month" award for Feb. 2006 and Mar. 2006
- Named runner-up for the NHL Defensive Player of the Week on Feb. 13 posting a 3-0-0 record with a 2.65 goals against average
- Earned the Sharks at least one point in 11 consecutive starts (9-0-2) posting a 2.32 goals against average and a .916 save percentage from Dec. 3 -Feb. 28
- Earned his first victory of the season at Toronto (5-4 W) on Dec. 3 in his first game since injuring his groin on Nov. 8
