- Set a career-high by recording assists in three consecutive games (Mar. 16 - 19, 0-3=3)
- Missed five games from Dec. 16 - 23 due to injury
- Named Seagate Technology "Sharks Player of the Month" for October
- Signed a three-year contract extension on August 11th, 2005. The extension will keep him in San Jose until 2009. He became the first player in the NHL to sign an extension since the new Collective Bargaining Agreement was ratified.
