Sabres celebrate Miller's retirement with highlight video

Buffalo's leader in games, wins, saves will wrap career with Ducks at season's end

Ryan Miller may retire as a member of the Anaheim Ducks, but he is still beloved by Buffalo Sabres fans.

When the longtime NHL goalie announced he was going to retire at the end of the season on Thursday, the Sabres celebrated him with a montage of his greatest highlights from his 11 seasons in Buffalo.

Miller, a veteran of 18 NHL seasons, is the Sabres all-time leader in games played by a goalie, wins and saves. He helped Buffalo reach the Eastern Conference Final in consecutive seasons, 2005-06 and 2006-07. He also won the Vezina Trophy with the Sabres in 2009-10.
The Sabres celebrated his standout career, which also included stops with the Vancouver Canucks and St. Louis Blues. Sabres owner Kim Pegula also tweeted her congratulations on Miller's retirement.

Many of Miller's former teammates also shared their support for Miller on social media, including fellow Ducks Max Jones and Josh Manson.
