Minnesota fans were going wild before the Wild game even started.

Before the Wild played the Vancouver Canucks at Xcel Energy Center on Sunday, fans gathered on the concourse to watch the conclusion of the NFC Divisional Round playoff game between the Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints.
The finish was an astonishing one as the Vikings won on a long, improbable last-second touchdown to eliminate the Saints and move on. The Vikings are now just one win away from the Super Bowl.
Wild fans watching the big screen before puck drop were seemingly happy about the result.

Players took note of the loud cheers before the game started and, at least the ones from Minnesota, understood.
"Yeah, we were heard that. That was pretty cool," forward Zach Parise, a native of Minneapolis, said. "Kind of assumed that there was a big play that was made. I mean, we didn't really know. Yeah, that was, that was awesome."
Parise wasn't shy about his fandom, as he donned a Vikings NFC North Division Champions hat during his intermission interview.

"I knew it had to be something like a win because it was so loud... You could feel it. I mean our trainers were coming running down the aisle like something big was happening," Nate Prosser, an Elk River, Minnesota, native, said. "We all kind of knew. We were all kind of looking around the concourse trying to look for a TV or something to kind of see what happened. We weren't able to watch even a minute of the game today with what time our game was at. It's exciting for our state. We are all pumped up for them."
Wild coach Bruce Boudreau found a lesson in the ending of the Vikings game.
"You knew somehow the Vikings won. You didn't know how. I think we came out and there was 25 seconds left and they were getting a penalty. But that's why you never quit and that's why sports is being played. These miracles happen in every sport almost every year," Boudreau said.
