While we all wait for Hockey Night to return, Friday was Haircut Night. At least for P.K. Subban.
CBS aired a one hour special called "Haircut Night in America" and one of the celebrity participants was New Jersey defenseman P.K. Subban and his Olympic skiing champion fiancee, Lindsey Vonn.
Hosted by celebrity couple Jerry O'Connell and Rebecca Romijn, the show featured Kelly Osbourne, Lindsey Lohan and even a team of doctors and nurses from UCLA.
The show had Vonn style up Subban with the help of his regular barber, Patrice Alexander, via video conference. Alexander joked he hadn't seen Subban's hair that long since the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, Russia, where he helped Team Canada win a gold medal.
Alexander did his best to advise, but Vonn, clearly a rookie at cutting hair, went rogue a few times. She also trimmed Subban's beard and even clipped his nose hair.
At one point during the segment, Vonn referred to Subban as "snuggie," something the hosts and Alexander all had fun with.
"That's going to be up in the locker room when I get back," Subban said.
When the event was over, Subban was happy with his new look and in the spirit of Olympic sports, Alexander scored her haircut an 8.97.
