Buffalo, which has scored one goal in three of its past four games, will move wings Jeff Skinner and Jason Pominville to a line with center Jack Eichel. Evan Rodrigues will move up to the second line, and the third and fourth lines were reshuffled.
The Sabres have lost two straight, including 5-1 at the San Jose Sharks on Thursday.
The Kings have been outscored 16-4 in a three-game losing streak, including a 7-2 loss to the New York Islanders on Thursday. Los Angeles has allowed three power-play goals in six penalty kills during the streak and has allowed a power-play goal in five of its past six games.
