Bills sabres

Buffalo Bills tackle Dion Dawkins turned back the clock for Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings.

The Bills offensive lineman arrived at the game wearing a black and red Buffalo Sabres throwback jersey with the famous Bison head logo (commonly referred to as the "goathead") from 1996-2006.

Dawkins' jersey was customized with his last name and his Bills jersey number, 73 and it's the latest evidence of the strong
Sabres-Bills alliance
.
The Sabres don't have a No. 73 on their roster this season, but forward Tage Thompson is No. 72 and forward Rasmus Asplund is 74, so maybe the 6-foot-5, 320-pound left tackle could fit right in on a line with them.
It wouldn't be the first time a Bills player theoretically] got some experience out on the ice. As you may remember, Bills cornerback Tre'Davious White claims to be the
[greatest goalie in Louisiana High School history

and is never shy about promoting
The Tre White Goalie Academy of Louisiana at Buffalo
.
And why not Dawkins? He is already plenty used to playing the left side. Now we just need to get him some skates.
