This past week had no shortage of great highlights, but we thought the three exciting moments below stood out from the rest. After you watch these videos, be sure to vote on what play you think deserves to be the Bridgestone Performance Moment of the Week.
NOTE: Poll is on the right. Results will be revealed next week.
Niemi's Game 3 effort: San Jose Sharks goalie Antti Niemi made 26 saves and allowed just one goal, after allowing a combined six in the first two games against the Los Angeles Kings, helping the Sharks to a 2-1 OT Game 3 win.
Zetterberg to Smith: In the second period of Game 2 against the Chicago Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings captain Henrik Zetterberg made a quick pass through the crease in front of Blackhawks goalie Corey Crawford to Brendan Smith to put the Red Wings up for good and tie their playoffs series at 1-1.
Nyquist's patient goal: In Game 3 against Chicago, Detroit center Gustav Nyquist received a neutral zone pass, rushed into the Hawks' zone, deked through two defenders and waited until Crawford made a move to easily get the puck past him for the Red Wings' first goal of the game.
