Tom Glavine, who became a 300-game winner in baseball after turning down a chance to sign with the
Los Angeles Kings, will be among the guests on NHL Live! on Thursday, scheduled from noon-2 p.m. on NHL Network and NHL.com and broadcast on XM Radio.
Glavine, a high school hockey star, was taken in the fourth round of the 1984 Entry Draft by Los Angeles -- five rounds ahead of Kings Hall of Famer
Luc Robitaille -- but opted to play baseball instead. He retired after the 2008 season.
Also scheduled to appear to speak with co-hosts Rob Simpson and
Dave Maloney are
Colorado Avalanche coach Joe Sacco,
San Jose Sharks forward
Ryane Clowe and hockey analyst
Mike Milbury, who's part of NBC's announcing team for the Vancouver Games.
