WHAT TO WATCH
- The Flyers, a low-scoring team, have scored 23 more goals than they've surrendered while the Rangers, in the middle of the scoring standings, have surrendered 19 more goals than they've scored. In the past 10 games, the Flyers have earned one more point than the Rangers.
- Robert Esche is expected to make his third-straight start for Philadelphia in place of Roman Cechmanek, who has a strained groin. Esche has a bad habit of giving up early goals. Expect the Rangers to pour shots on Esche in an attempt to determine the outcome early.
- The Rangers are six points behind the New York Islanders in the race for the last Eastern Division playoff spot. They have only seven games left while the Islanders have nine so this is a must-win game for the Rangers.

#88 Eric Lindros, C
What's Stuart Scott say, "Boo-yah?" That's what it sounds like at the First Union Center when Lindros returns: Half the crowd boos him while the other half, some wearing No. 88 "Lindros" Flyers' jerseys will cheer their former captain. Lindros is coming off a two-goal performance against Buffalo.

|
#10 John Leclair, L
Lindros' linemate in the old "Legion of Doom" days has struggled with injuries since Lindros' departure but he's back at peak health, pushing opponents out of his way, driving pucks past goalies and determined to win another Stanley Cup.
