Bruins rally in third, top Canadiens again
Boston Bruins 2, Montréal Canadiens 1
The Boston Bruins beat out the Montreal Canadiens for the Northeast Division and rallied from a 2-0 deficit in their first-round playoff series on their journey to becoming Stanley Cup champions last season, and so far this preseason the B's are showing they still have the edge.

Third-period goals by Tyler Seguin and Chris Clark rallied Boston to a 2-1 win on Monday night at the Bell Centre, the second time in as many evenings that the Bruins defeated the Canadiens. They won 7-3 in a neutral-site game in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on Sunday.

Tuukka Rask stopped 30 shots as Boston remained unbeaten in regulation during the preseason and improved to 3-0-1 overall.

Michael Cammalleri put the Canadiens on the scoreboard first and Carey Price also made 30 saves, but it wasn't enough to keep Montreal from losing for the fifth time in six games.

The first half of the game was scoreless until Cammalleri's third of the preseason gave the Habs a 1-0 lead with 4:27 left in the second.

There had been only two minor penalties through the first 40 minutes, but when Montreal's Phil Desimone was sent off for hooking early in the third, Seguin promptly capitalized at 4:17 with the tying power-play goal.

The Canadiens had just finished killing a hooking penalty to defenseman Jaroslav Spacek when Clark netted the go-ahead goal with 6:45 remaining.
