BILL PETERS ON FIVE-GAME WINNING STREAK

PETERS ON SABRES' 7-2 LOSS TO EDMONTON

"They would have taken advantage of a day to recover and get organized. Even in that loss, they were dangerous. Lots of shots. Forty-plus shots. Some real good plays by them. They're a really talented team, a dangerous team, and we've got to worry about looking after ourselves and playing the right way."

PETERS ON RITTICH'S YEAR SO FAR

"Just a lot of confidence. He stole us a couple games early and that gave him some confidence. Then some timely scoring for us, obviously, some of those overtime wins early in the year that he was in net for. He just built from there. He's settled in. It's his second year in the National Hockey League and continues to get better and so he should. He's familiar with the league, familiar with the players, familiar with the NHL travel, the way it all works. I just think he's finding a comfort level."

PETERS ON JAMES NEAL'S HEALTH

"He's not feeling quite right. So we'll let him get back to being 100% healthy and get him back whenever we can."

MATTHEW TKACHUK ON 'EXPECTING' TO WIN

"We expect that no matter who we're playing, no matter building we're playing in, we expect that from ourselves, to work hard, put a good effort forward and win the game. That's a great feeling to have. We've had some games this year where we haven't had good starts and we've still somehow managed to win the game. When you do that, when you do that multiple times - like one time, maybe two or three times, that might be a little fluky - but we've done it a bunch this year. We don't want to put ourselves in that position, but we've won a good amount of games so far. We've just got to keep doing what we're doing."

DALTON PROUT ON FACING A DESPERATE SABRES TEAM

"We're trying to stay on top right now, we're trying to stay hot and keep the ball rolling. It's a team over there that has been struggling, but the more you struggle, the more desperate you get. You mix their desperation with their ability to score, it's dangerous. It's a challenge for us to bring our A Game, regardless of the competition and regardless of the situation we're going through. It's about bringing it every day and I have faith that we're going to do that tonight."

AUSTIN CZARNIK ON SUCCESSFUL HOMESTAND

"To be home, in our own places, I think that helps. Obviously when you go out there and have the fans cheering for you, it makes it that much easier to play in front of them. I think we've got to keep building our game, we need to have good starts and finish the whole game."
