BOSTON -The Boston Bruins Foundation has once again partnered with the Hero's Cup Foundation to host the seventh annual BFit Heroes Cup Hockey Tournament, presented by National Grid, beginning Friday, June 9, in Marlborough.

The BFit Heroes Cup is a weekend-long event designed to bring firefighters, police officers, EMS and military members together to raise funds and awareness for the charities they choose to fundraise for by participating in the tournament. The BFit Heroes Cup has a collective goal of $500,000 for the 2023 hockey tournament, which will be held at the New England Sports Center in Marlborough, Massachusetts.

Bruins alumni Mike Mottau, Andrew Raycroft and P.J. Stockwill each join a top first responder or military fundraising team throughout the tournament weekend.

Additionally, Player Development Coordinator Adam McQuaidwill serve as the opening ceremonies speaker while Bruins anthem singer Todd Angilly will perform the national anthem.

The hockey tournament will run from Friday, June 9, until Sunday, June 11, and will feature 102 teams made up of over 1,600 first responders and military members. Sunday will feature the top four teams from each division in a championship round, with the winner of each division receiving a cash prize that will be added to their donation to a charity of their choice.
